In2Cultures – Winners at the Pride of Stratford Awards 2017

In2Cultures were delighted and honoured to be winners of the Educator of the Year category at the Pride of Stratford Awards 2017.  The ‘Swan’ was presented to us on Friday 3rd February at the awards ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford.  We were also finalists in the Arts Organisation of the Year category.


Seasonal Workshops

Diwali: Celebrate Indian culture and the Festival of Lights with In2Cultures by learning Indian Bhangra dancing, storytelling or Indian visual arts. Black History Month: Celebrate BHM with a ‘Mandela Day’ or perhaps African drumming, song and dance.


After School Workshops

‘Ilanga’, our community African Drumming group continues to meet at Bridgetown Primary School – Saturdays during term time from 11-12noon followed by a Bhangra class from 12noon-1pm.  All are welcome. We are also available for after school clubs,either African drumming or Bhangra dancing. If you have any further questions, please contact Devinder or Liz.


Looking back….

In this academic year 2015-16, we have been fortunate enough to work with High Meadow Infants, Bidford Primary, St Joseph’s RC Primary, Heart of England and Oxford Mencap, Shipston Primary and University College Hospital, Coventry among others. The London Youth Gospel Choir in Stratford and Bedworth 2016

In2Cultures were delighted that following the Choir’s successful visit to Bedworth Civic Hall and Stratford-upon-Avon in 2014, they returned this year  in 2016 to perform for us at the Bedworth Civic Hall Showcase and also spent the weekend with us in Stratford, involved in a fantastic workshop and performance at the River Festival.  Many thanks to them all for a great weekend of song!


In2Cultures Multicultural Youth Showcases 2016

We are very grateful to the London International Gospel Choir who were top of the bill at our Bedworth Civic Hall Showcase.  Also the very talented Tom Barnwell from BBC’s The Voice headed the bill at all of our three Showcases.  All the three Showcases were a great success, celebrating the immense talent of our local young people.  Thanks to all the participants! The African Children’s Choir returned in January 2016!

In2Cultures are delighted to announce that for the second year running we brought the world famous African Children’s Choir to the area.  We involved 14 local schools who each sent a choir to sing with the African Children’s Choir. Pride of Stratford Awards 2016

In2Cultures were delighted and honoured to be nominated as finalists in the ‘Educator of the Year’ category at the Pride of Stratford Awards for a second time.  The winners were announced at the Awards Ceremony on February 5th 2016 at the Holiday Inn, Stratford.  We had a great evening and would like to congratulate all the winners.

The African Children’s Choir in Stratford upon Avon!

In2Cultures are delighted to have been able to bring the world famous African Children’s Choir to Stratford-upon-Avon! After stealing the hearts of the world during their uplifting performance of the number one single ‘Sing’ with Gary Barlow at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the famous African Children’s Choir were invited back to tour their inspirational talents.  They performed at the newly refurbished Stratford ArtsHouse on Friday 9th
